Multi-Arts Program — New Show

The Delinquent Monk

Paris Through the Eyes of Francis Poulenc
Back to Shows

The Delinquent Monk charts the musical life of Paris from 1928 to 1945 — from the roaring, carefree jazz age through the Depression and rise of fascism — through the eyes of composer Francis Poulenc. Nightlife, religious music, and high art collide in a program that celebrates how creativity ultimately survives and prevails.

The show combines live performance with narration, weaving Poulenc's story through the music of the era. A theatrical concert experience for audiences who love music, history, and storytelling.
